Rice with Ginger and Olives


  • 400 gr. rice
  • ½ jar black olive paste
  • 1 small piece finely chopped ginger root
  • ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • salt.


  1. Cook the rice in plenty of salted water.
  2. Meanwhile, in a non-stick frying pan mix all the other ingredients and heat but without bringing to the boil.
  3. Drain the rice al dente and add it to the frying pan.
